APPEAL TO EVERYBODY
This year we have lowered price for Butterlamp retreat so that as many people as possible can attend this great and such important ceremony for the world especially nowadays. We hope that lowering the price will allow many people to attend the Butterlamp Offering practice and we will be able to offer full number of 111 111 butterlamps again, just as we did when Rinpoche was alive. I guess everybody remembers how important it was for Rinpoche to have one ceremony in Darnkow and one in Siliguri every year.
To burn so many butterlamps we need not only people to do so, but also the oil to fill the lamps with. To fill 111 111 butterlamps we need 3400 liters of oil. The lowered fee for the retreat means, unfortunately, smaller funds for purchasing the oil that we want to offer. With that in mind we kindly ask all of you for sponsoring the oil.
All those, who cannot, for various reasons, participate in the retreat, but would like to offer butterlamps, can participate in that way. Oil for one lamp is only 0,12 PLN. 100 lamps makes 12 PLN. You can send money for that purpose to the Association's account with description: OIL FOR BUTTERLAMPS.

For the organization purposes, please notify us about your arrival AT LEAST 2 WEEKS BEFORE your arrival date.
Accommodation:
In dormitory (very limited number of places, please apply) or in your own tent on the camping lot within the Monastery.
Food:
Vegetarian or meat meals will be provided.
PLEASE NOTE THAT:
- nights in the mountains can be very cold, even during summertime;
- as our experience shows, the weather here can be very fussy - Please bring waterproof boots and jackets as well as warm clothes;
- please think carefully the idea of bringing any pets with you - this apply to dogs especially;
- it is not possible to get to the Monastery by public transport; you can get to Jeleniów or Kudowa Zdrój by bus, or to Kudowa Zdrój by train, then by foot, hitch-hiking or taxi (depends on your funds and fitness);
- please bring with you: sleeping bag, mug, plates and cutlery
