14th Butterlamp Offering Ceremony conducted by Tulku Migme Lama
The fee for the Butterlamp Offering Ceremony is 17 PLN / per day + 26 PLN meals.
Children under the age of 10 - 7 PLN/ per day.
GREAT APPEAL TO EVERYBODY!!!
For 13 years we were able to offer butterlamps according to the wish of our teacher Chimed Rigdzin Rinpoche. For Rinpoche
the Butterlamp Offering Ceremony was especially important and he deeply cared to have it in Darnków every year.
During this retreat we will offer butterlamps as we do every year for the world peace.
To make the retreat happen we need oil (3.400 l is needed to fill 111.111 butterlamps), wicks, clothes and airline ticket for
Tulku Migme Lama.
The payment for the retreat covers only the costs of staying in our center during the retreat.
Last year 111.111 lamps were offered thanks to sponsors who paid for oil.
Last year we were able once again to offer traditional 111 111 butterlamps thanks to sponsors and people, who cleaned
butterlamps, also during the retreat with His Holiness Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche.
So we kindly ask everybody to sponsor butterlamps!

Retreat with H.H. Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche
- Continuation of Bjangter transmission – initiations and lungs for practices: Yamantaka, Dorje
Pahmo.
- Teachings and explanations to practices: Drubkor Namsum, Vajrakilaya and Kab Gye
During the retreat, if everything goes according to the plan, there will be a consecration of stupa foundations. Our
wish is that everybody who has a connection with our teacher Chimed Rigdzin Rinpoche – Tulku Ugen, Tulku
Migme, Gudrun, James Low, all the regents appointed by our Rinpoche and all his students will attend the
ceremony. Since we are not able to set the date yet, it is just the first information about it. We will let you know
about the details as soon as the date is fixed.
Retreat fee - 60 PLN/ per day + meals.
Advance payment till 15th May 2010 - 10% discount (discount applies only for the advance payment amount).
The whole retreat - 15 % discount
Retired and pensioners, for whom pension is the only income - 30% discount
Meals (vegetarian or non vegetarian) - 26 PLN for 3 meals = 14 PLN for lunch, 6 PLN for breakfast, 6 PLN for
supper (discounts do not apply to meal payment)
Children under the age of 10 - 7PLN./ per day
Accompanying persons (persons who stay in the Center without participation in teachings) - 20 PLN / per day +
meals.

We can not provide accommodation or meals for persons without previous application!!!
Your application should include:
- name and surname;
- the dates of arrival and departure;
- meals: how many, vegetarian or non vegetarian;
- accommodation type.
Accommodation available:
- The old dormitory: 35 places (application order is valid);
- The new dormitory over the dining room: 20 places (application order is valid);
- private tents or caravans at the camp site provided by the organizers;
- first floor at the gompa (only during Butterlamp Retreat!!!): in rooms (additional fee: 10PLN/per
day/per person) – 17 places, mattresses in the library (additional fee: 5PLN/per day/per person – 10
places, with priority for elder people, or those with health problems (application order is valid);
- people with accommodation outside the center will get 10 PLN/per day discount.
Important notices!
• Nights in the mountains are cold even in summer.
• Weather in Darnków changes rapidly. Taking wellingtons and a raincoat can save you a lot of trouble.
• Please, think over the idea of taking pets, especially dogs.
• There is no regular transport to Darnków. You can take a bus to Jeleniow or Kudowa Zdrój, and continue on
foot, hitchhike or by taxi. The taxi nr 11 can take up to 8 people from Kudowa to our center.

UPDATE:
And here big request for offerings for butterlamps. Till now we recived
2.363 zł offerings for butterlapms. For 111.111 lamps we need 3.400l of oil,
we have 500l from last year, so we still need 2900l which cost approximately
13.000 zł.
We request very much for offerings for lamps. Without your finnancial
support we won`t be able to offer 111.111 lamps like we made annualy from
14 years.
