Greetings to all of you,

We are now slowly getting ready for the next Butterlamp retreat which will be held from January 24th to February 13th, 2010 and which will be followed by the celebration of the Tibetan new year (Losar), from February 14th onwards.

This year the pilgrimage to Sikkim within the butterlamp retreat will focus on the holy place of Kachopelri Lake. Famously renown as a wish-fulfilling lake. It is Tulku Ugen Chencho dearest wish, that as many participants as possible get the chance to reach this lake to pray and offer lamps, making special aspirations and wishing together for the swift return of our beloved Chhimed Rigdzin Rinpoche as well as for their own personnal wishes. Prayers, lamps and aspirations will also be offered from Tashiding and Yuksom during this Pilgrimage tour to Sikkim.

APPEAL TO SPONSORS FOR THE DALDA without whom the butterlamp retreat cannot be held.

So far we have confirmation of several persons who will make the effort to travel to India to engage into the practice, but nobody came yet clearly forward to sponsor the expenses of the Dalda. Either partly or in its totality.

Please contact us directly if you wish to participate financially to make this 19th Butterlamp retreat possible.

With you from India,
