26.03.2012 Dear Friends in Dharma, Dear Friends in Dharma, Because still we don’t have too many zungs to fill the stupa, we have ordered next 70.000 sheets with mantra for stupa filling. We also have to buy saffron and incenses and bring them to Poland. We kindly ask for your donations, we need, as soon as possible, approximately 12.000 PLN for mantras, saffron and incense, because the earlier mantras come to Poland the sooner we can start preparing zungs. In April we are going to organize sending of 3 statues and several dozens of ready boxes with zungs. All was offered by Paul from Tashiding. The matras were prepared at H.H. Dodrubchen Ripoche’s monastery for a stupa, which Paul was trying to construct in Tashiding. He decided to offer a part of the filling for Darnkow stupa. We have to pay only a transportation fee. We do not know how much it will be, but our estimation is around 4000 PLN. All the time we are working on texts for stupa. Till this summer the complete set of texts and practices transmitted by our Rinpoche, Chhimed Rigdzin Lama will be ready. The full set of Byangter texts given by H.H. Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche will be ready too. For this moment we have only Polish and French versions of our practices. We are waiting for other languages. We can also print other Nyingma texts (Tulku Rigdzin Pema Rinpoche said that it would be very good if we be able to prepare them to put to the stupa):
In Darnkow, from the beginning of July, Lama Thinley will start preparing zungs. Mantras should be folded, covered with five colored cloth or ribbons, wrapped in foil, put in boxes. Boxes will be filled with dried thuya, saffron and filled with palm oil. Then they will be placed in the bumpa of the stupa. Still you can offer to the stupa:
To fill the bumpa (it is big space – 3.5 meters high and 4 meters wide) we need around 30.000 PLN: 16.000 PLN is for mantras, saffron, incenses and transportation fee (also ready mantras and zungs) to Poland. 3000 PLN for palm oil. Plastic boxes for texts and zungs, around 3500 PLN, cloth for covering of zungs – 500 PLN. Around 7000 PLN for preparing other Nyingmapa texts. We are still waiting for a cost calculation of building the bumpa itself. We already got the cost calculation of the last storey of the stupa and the crown (13 discs, an umbrella, moon and sun discs, a jewel). After consulting with Tulku Rigdzin Rinpoche we decided to make it from a welded sheet iron. If we could afford we would like to cover it with gold leaves. The cost of making all metal elements of the crown is around 37.000 – 20.000 PLN to make all in metal, 17.000 PLN are gold leaves, glue and varnish. Covering with gold we can make ourselves here, in Darnków. Till now, thanks to your generosity and efforts. we were able to construct the half of the stupa. Last year, Tulku Rigdzin Pema Rinpoche, after consecration ceremony, said it would be very auspicious if we could finish the stupa in 2012. He stresses it every time we contact him to explain details about the stupa. In this moment, all depends on finances. Even the smallest donation is helpful in bringing the stupa to real. We are deeply grateful for all your donations. We ask you for continuous donations for stupa. You can pay money directly to our account:
Or to the German Khordong account:

Meanwhile we would like to announce the tentative schedule of 2012 summer retreats:From 14th July the butterlamps reatreat with Tulku Migme will start. It will last after arrival of H.H. Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche till all 111 111 lamps are burnt. In the end of July Tulku Rigdzin Pema Rinpoche will come to Darnków to take care for the stupa works. August – H.H. Taklung Tsetrul Rinpoche (the exact dates will be announced in next months). 3rd – 4th October – Ven. Khandro Rinpoche (the dates will not be changed). We also invited Tulku Ugen, we expect him in Darnków in the end of July, but the exact dates are still not decided. Unfortunately, due to lack of time James Low can not come to Darnkow in 2012. He promised to visit us next year. Best regards from Darnkow, ***3/12ar |
