Rinpoche has visited Denmark every year since 1993, exept for one year. He has given many important Wangs and transmissions, from both the Byangter lineage and from the precious lineage of Khordong.

In 1996 when Rinpoche was giving the Gongpa Zangthal initiation in Copenhagen was Erik Meier Carlsen appointed as Rinpoche's regent in Denmark.
