„...however, let me just inform you that as our Rinpochi had assigned me certain task to perform as the Principal Regent of him before he passed away, he had assigned me to try to bring Tulku Chokyi Gyaltshan to Tibet and introduce him with the lamas and tulkus there. He in his first and second visit had recognised many tulkus in Tibet.

During my last visit I spoke about this in Tibet and people there welcomed the idea and requested me to do so. In this regard we already spoke with Tulku Norbu, Pema Wangchuk, Tulku Palgon and Tulku Cherang Nyima.

I would go to Tibet only for this reason and only if Tulku Chokyi Gyaltshan will visit. I would consider this as my holy duty. If there are other people who will go is good and believe will be well received by our people in Khordong Gompa in Kham.

Personally I am also looking for sponsorship for myself at least and this bit of information can also with the appeal to create a Tibet visit group. The last date for registering for the trip should be made by the 15th of April, so that I can inform Tulku Cherang Nyima to organize transport, accomodation, etc. Of course we have to pay for the same.

I shall try to reach Hongkong on the 9th of May. Put up myself and Sashi if possible at Chunking Mansion it is a Huge building in the heart of Hongkong city and have very cheap guest houses in this building along with travel agents (for visa making and getting tickets to Chengdu). So the travel is basically for about two weeks. It is important to mention that travelling together from Hongkong/Chengdu will definitely help everyone not to wander around.

Though food and accomodation in Khordong Gompa and at Sugchung will be provided, but people should not feel like getting modern accomodation. I would request to collect (if possible) a generous fund for offering to Khordong Gompa as sangha members of our Venerable Rinpochi who belonged to this monastery in order to pay respect.

The journey from the foot-hill after crossing the Nyuchu river (from where you can see the Gompa) will be on foot. Generally horse/mules are offered to high lamas, Tulkus, etc. As it is climb for about 25 minutes or so those who are old, heavy or not able to walk can request for a horse in advance so that the same can be communicated to Tulku Cherang Nyima. People should prepare for their health care, medicines, etc as the monastery is located at a high altitude.

I would request everyone to try their best to visit Tibet when we are bring Tulku Chokyi Gyaltshan and maybe other Tulkus (like Tara,Patrice and Nathali's son Chime and others if they would like to join the caravan) of the Khordong Western Sangha to visit our holy land.

It is important to have someone deputed to take care of getting the names, etc for the trip. I may as well receive the info .

With good wishes to you and all the Dharma friends through this message.
