02.02.2011 Dear Friends in Dharma, The works around Stupa have already started. On March 19th the walls of the first level have been poured, in the photo we can see them after removing the boarding formwork. Now, we are setting the new set of formwork for load-bearing walls of the first level - the walls of meditation room. These walls are 4.5 meters in height, above them there will be a double structural ceiling supporting the next levels of the Stupa. According to the preliminary cost estimation submitted by the contractor we need 85,000 zł, to finish the first level of the stupa (load-bearing walls with the structural ceiling). We are waiting for the cost estimation of the next level, where tsatsa will be placed. We would like to finish these two levels until summer, so we could place tsatsa there in August. We still have nearly 13,000 zł from donations to the stupa from the last year (in January there was over 26,000 zł but since then we have made various purchases and payments related to the stupa - e.g. we bought two tons of clay for tsatsa - we already have a 3000 of them - after tsatsa retreat two people stay in Darnków and they make tsatsa all the time). However, we need some more money to continue the building of stupa and we would like to ask for your financial support. Every donation, even the smallest one is extremely valuable to us and makes the progress of construction possible.
